Bridge coverings

The often rotting and slippery planks or steel covers for bridges are increasingly being replaced by GRP structures during reconstruction or modernisation work. They not only look more modern and increase safety with their signal colour and slip resistance – installation times are also considerably quicker than with conventional coverings. Thanks to their low dead weight, the gratings can be adapted very easily on site. Other benefits include sound insulation and electrical insulation, making the expensive and high-maintenance earthing process unnecessary. In addition to conventional bridge coverings, CTS has also developed special coverings for sleeper spacings and breather switches.t.
